Alex performs a wide range of soft tissue knee surgery, including a high volume of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructions. He offers a variety of ACL graft choices and uses the latest surgical techniques, including lateral extra-articular tenodesis, to optimise stability and long-term outcomes.

He has previously been involved in basic science research and was awarded an MD (Res) from Imperial College London for his work relating to ACL reconstruction. Alex also offers joint-preserving knee surgery, including osteotomy, where appropriate.

Clinic appointments include a convenient one-stop knee clinic with access to a same-day MRI scan at the Cobalt Clinic, allowing rapid diagnosis and treatment planning. During his time in Gloucestershire, he has developed close working relationships with many local physiotherapists, supporting coordinated rehabilitation and recovery.
